CONEWAGO TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa.–A counselor at a drug treatment facility in Dauphin County is facing institutional sexual assault charges for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a patient.

Shannon A. Sease, 41, of Hummelstown is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and institutional sexual assault. He was arraigned Wednesday on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Pennsylvania State Police began investigating Sease in October 2016 after being contacted by the director at Conewago Place in regards to a sexual assault involving a counselor and patient at the facility, according to the criminal complaint.
