An Arctic air blast is on it’s way. Are you ready?

In one week, it’s officially winter. And, if shivering has not been used more frequently in your vocabulary as of late, there’s a good chance it soon will be used.

Within the next 24 hours, winds are anticipated to pick up, and a significant blast of Arctic air burst is expected in Central, Pennsylvania, according to FOX43 Weather. Snow squalls are likely and may hamper traveling with limited visibility, and slick roads. This is mainly north and west of Harrisburg.

Temperatures are expected to plummet tomorrow as morning lows tank into the teens and highs only muster the lower 20s. The winds will gust 30 to 40 mph causing it to feel like it’s in the single digits with sub-zero readings.

FOX43 Weather is predicting plenty of clouds and lake effect snow showers and flurries. Friday is going to be brutally cold for this time of year.
