WEEK BEGINS COLD: Skies are dry again Monday, but another pocket of cold air sneaks into the area. It’s not as cold as the end of last week, however! It’s a typical chill, with temperatures in the lower to middle 20s under partly cloudy skies. The winds are light too. Temperatures only make it into the lower to middle 30s for most during the afternoon, but there is plenty of sunshine throughout the afternoon. The winds remain light. Temperatures drop quickly through the night under clear skies and light winds. Readings are on the frigid side, in the middle teens to lower 20s. Temperatures recover a bit on Tuesday, but it’s still a bit on the cold side. It remains dry for with abundant sunshine. Readings remain in the 30s.

MILD MIDWEEK: Temperatures moderate further through the middle of the week, turning on the milder side for this time of year. Wednesday brings milder temperatures with plenty of sunshine to start. Some clouds move in during the afternoon. Highs reach the Thursday brings our next chance for showers. A few flakes could mix in late in the wake of the system, but nothing that would be a bother. Expect highs in the 40s both Wednesday and Thursday.

CHRISTMAS WEEKEND: The holiday weekend is unsettled, but there is nothing expected to slow down travels. No white Christmas expected for us! Christmas Eve is mainly dry, but there’s increasing afternoon clouds. A few late day or evening showers are possible. A few showers could linger into Christmas Day, but for now, much of the day looks dry. Temperatures are mild both days, with readings well into the 40s.
