Fire destroys Lancaster County barn

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Fire leveled a barn at 1959 Valleyview Drive in Mount Joy Township late Thursday afternoon. Firefighters responded to the scene just 5 p.m. The first firefighters on the scene reported that the barn was engulfed in flames.

Fire crews were on the scene for more than three hours as the fire burnt itself out. The Fire Chief says the barn was being used for storage.

A State Police Fire Marshal will look into the cause of the fire. There was no estimate of damage.
