CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa.– Cumberland County 9-1-1 service has been restored. Centurylink was able to resolve the intermittent 9-1-1 outages experienced earlier today affecting residents in the Carlisle and Shippensburg areas.
9-1-1 service returned to normal operations at 11:15 AM this morning. Technicians have been on-site conducting additional testing and analysis throughout the afternoon hours to ensure system stability.

The Cumberland County Department of Public Safety reports there are intermittent 911 outages affecting residents in the Carlisle and Shippensburg areas.
Currently, Centruylink technicians are on-site working to resolve the problem.
