UPDATE: The York County Coroner’s office says an autopsy needs to be performed in order to identify a man whose body that was found Saturday. The examination is scheduled for Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

FAIRVIEW TWP., York County Pa. — The York County coroner is working to determine what killed a man, whose body was found along the shore of the Susquehanna River.

The body was spotted by a fisherman, several hundred yards from the PA Turnpike Bridge in Fairview Township, York County.

According to a coroner’s report, the man appears to have been dead for several weeks. The coroner hasn’t been able to determine the man’s race or age.
