Police investigate shots fired in Lancaster City

LANCASTER, Pa.–Police are investigating reports of shots fired in Lancaster city on Tuesday morning.

Police responded shortly before 11 a.m. to Mifflin Street and Stevens Avenue.

Police were told the shooter may have traveled back to Franklin St. and entered a residence there. They conducted a search. Four casings from a semi automatic hand gun were discovered at the scene, according to police. Investigators believe the shooter left the area before police arrived.

No one was injured.
