No injuries in garage fire at Smoketown Airport

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.–A garage attached to Smoketown Airport in East Lampeter Township caught fire Wednesday night.

Crews responded to the area of Old Philadelphia Pike and Airport Drive around 6 p.m. The fire was put out by firefighters shortly after 7 p.m.

Witmer Fire Protective Association Assistant Chief Reuben Lapp says the fire was caused by an electrical spark, possibly from electric overload.

No one was injured.
