SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, Pa — UPDATE: The southbound lanes of Interstate 83 are now open to traffic, after a crash early Saturday morning. Northbound I-83 is still restricted to one lane at this hour.

An overturned tanker-truck carrying liquid oxygen shut down part of I-83 in York County early Saturday morning.
State Police responded to the roll-over crash just before 6:00 a.m. on Saturday on the Exit 8 off-ramp of I-83 northbound.
The tanker-truck was carrying liquid oxygen which spilled onto the roadway.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
I-83 northbound is shut down at the Shrewsbury exit and southbound at Loganville.
PSP estimates the time of re-opening sometime late Saturday afternoon.
