One man dead, teenager injured in York City shooting

YORK, Pa. — One man is dead and a teenager is injured after a shooting in the city.

Authorities say it happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday night on the 200 block of South Penn Street.

Police say they found two shooting victims at the scene, 32-year-old Matthew Alexander Bell of York and a 17-year-old male, also of York.

Bell was pronounced dead at the scene.

EMS crews took the juvenile victim to the hospital with a bullet wound to his left side.

He is listed in stable condition.
