YORK COUNTY, Pa.– U.S. Marshals have announced the arrest of a York man that is accused of stabbing a victim with a pocket knife.
Kalvin Beady, 27, is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and other related offenses for an incident that occurred on April 10.
According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to the 500 block of Front St. for a reported domestic assault.
Upon arrival, police met with the victim who said that her ex-boyfriend, later identified as Beady, stabbed her with a pocket knife.
The victim told police that Beady had contacted her via Facebook Messenger and asked to come over.
When Beady arrived at the victim’s home around 10:30 p.m., he wanted to talk.
The duo went into the victim’s bedroom and began watching a movie.
The victim began asking Beady about his children’s mother, and he allegedly got upset and started yelling.
He allegedly pushed the victim down before poking at her with the knife.
The victim told police that he jabbed it at her between five and eight times as she tried to get away.
According to the criminal complaint, Beady said, “I’m going to kill you” while jabbing at her.
The victim told Beady she was going to call the police and he left.
He allegedly took one of the victim’s phones and two keys to her house.
On April 13, police located and arrested Beady without incident in the 500 block of Front Street in York.
