SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Dauphin County — A 66-year-old Harrisburg man was arrested Tuesday after police say he sold heroin to a man who later died of an overdose.

David Bobe is charged with murder by delivery of drugs, possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communication facility, according to Swatara Township Police.

Bobe allegedly sold the heroin to Logan T. George, who was found dead Monday on the 700 block of South 82nd Street, police say.

According to police, George was found dead in his home by his mother. Analysis of the victim’s cell phone revealed a phone contact listed as “Brooklyn,” who had exchanged two calls with the victim on the morning of the victim’s death.

The Dauphin County Drug Task Force recognized “Brooklyn” as a nickname of Bobe’s, with whom members of the Task Force were familiar, police say. A member of the Task Force, working undercover, contacted Bobe to arrange a drug sale.

Bobe was arrested after the sale, police say. He later admitted to selling heroin to the victim during an interview with police.
