  • Londonderry Elementary School in Dauphin County will be closed Monday

    LONDONDERRY TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa.– Lower Dauphin School District officials announce the Londonderry Elementary School will be closed on Monday, March 5, 2018. It is the only school in the district that will be closed. The closure affects students, teachers and office staff. School officials say the closure is due to maintenance issues related to an extended power outage. Kindergarten registration is also delayed. It is now rescheduled for March 19, 2018.

    Harrisburg School District will resume classes Monday following threat

    Harrisburg, Pa.–  Officials with the Harrisburg School District say all schools and the Lincoln Administration building will resume operations Monday, February 26. Schools were shutdown on Friday following a threat that was circulating on social media.     Lebanon, Pa. — Preparations for “Fat Tuesday” or what is more commonly referred to as “Fastnacht Day” are underway across our area.     Harrisburg, Pa.- The Pennsylvania Democratic Committee announced its endorsement for Pennsylvania Governor. The committee made the announcement during Saturday’s party meeting. The party plans to back Governor Tom Wolf as he seeks re-election. Governor Tom Wolf says he’s honored to receive the party’s endorsement.  The state primaries will take place Tuesday, May 15th.
