    Carlisle, Pa- A section of Interstate 81 near Carlisle is shut down due to a reported vehicle fire. According to Cumberland County 911, the vehicle burst into flames in the southbound lanes near the College Street exit. So far no injuries have been reported. Delays are to be expected in the area.

    LOWER CHANCEFORD TWP, York County, Pa- A man was charged after being accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a mentally disabled teen he was caring for, according to the criminal complaint. Pennsylvania  State Police filed charges Monday against Albert Fraschetti, 59,  of York City,  for indecent assault on a person with a mental disability.   • Police investigate Saturday night shooting that injured one

    HARRISBURG, Pa-Harrisburg police are investigating a shooting Saturday night. According to Dauphin County 911, sometime before 10:30 p.m. one person was shot in near the area of 4th and Woodbine Streets. That person was taken to a nearby hospital where the severity of his injuries are unknown. Harrisburg City Police are still investigating.

  • Man shot, killed by police at Chambersburg Hospital

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa — A man wielding a knife and threatening staff at Chambersburg Hospital was shot and killed by responding police officers. Police were called to the hospital around 8 am. The man, a patient at the hospital, reportedly turned his attention to officers when they arrived and threatened them with the knife.   • Car goes through window at Pier 1 Imports near Park City in Lancaster

    LANCASTER, Pa- Police are investigating after a car went through the front glass window at Pier 1 Imports near Park City Center in Lancaster. It happened along the 800 block of  Plaza Blvd around 11:30 a.m.According to police on scene, no one was injured during the crash. At this time police are not releasing any information. According to police, 38-year-old Corey Beard is being charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.
