Cliff Neill

Cliff NeillI grew up on Long Island and have three degrees in the Communications discipline. An AAS in Broadcast Telecommunications from SUNY Suffolk Community College, a BA in Communication from Slippery Rock University, and an MS in Electronic Media from Kutztown University.

My career encompasses 15 years. My first job was at News 12 Long Island from July 1995 until March 1998 editing, shooting, and in the studio crew. Then worked as an editor for the Fox News Channel alongside the likes of Bill O’Reilly, Sheperd Smith, and Geraldo Rivera, for nine years until May 2007.

I moved down to Lancaster, PA where I went back to grad school at KU. I took a two year hiatus in my professional TV news career, where I worked as the Graduate Assistant in the Electronic Media department, helping with in classroom instruction, mentoring undergrads, assisting with the campus TV news program “Newsbreak”, producing the local KU interview program “It’s Academic”, and was on the Executive Board of the KU National Broadcasting Society chapter. I graduated with a 4.0 as a member of the AERho and Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Societies. After graduating I taught 3 classes as Adjunct Faculty at Elizabethtown College.

I began working at FOX43 in June 2009 as a Media Specialist and Video Photojournalist, where I relish the opportunity to mentor and train new hires and interns.

I live in Lancaster with my wife of seventeen years Sandy, daughter Molly, and our newly adopted English Springer Spaniel Toby. In my free time I play church league softball, follow the NFL (World Champion New York Giants), MLB (Mets), and the NHL(no comment), excel in fantasy football, and support my daughter’s involvement with the Arthritis Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network.
