Reporting the news of the day is not a just job for me, it is what I do. I’m “all in” when it comes to reporting the news of the day. A “seasoned” veteran of the local news scene.
I’m the afternoon and evening content manager on the assignment desk at FOX43. I sort out all the information that comes in via telephone, email, fax, snail mail, handbills, scanners etc. I also get to listen to some “interesting” phone calls from viewers. No question is too dumb, crazy or out of the ordinary to answer.
I have a reputation for having a good “ear” for breaking news on the scanners. Believe me that comes from years of experience. No two days are the same and that’s how I like it.
My wife, Gail says I’m a news junkie… guilty as charged. No, no… it is not what you think… I do have other interests. Theatre, art shows, love Mt. Gretna, music, 1st Fridays, dancing, my wife is pretty good at that. I love sports, football, baseball, basketball, college and pro, soccer, tennis. I follow the Steelers’, my favorite NFL team, the Eagles, the Phillies, the Pirates, the Penquins, the Flyers, Hershey Bears, the Lakers, and the 76’ers. No armchair sports follower, I enjoy bicycling, jogging, hiking, skydiving, white water rafting, volleyball, board games, golf, when I have the time, and I’m an avid reader.
I’m also a proud graduate of Lancaster’s J.P. McCaskey High School and Bloomsburg University. If you have a news tip or story idea email me at news@fox43.com
