First Responder Games


More than two-thousand first responders are travelling to our neck of the woods for the 2014 York Can-Am Police-Fire Games.  The Olympic style games are held every other year in different host cities and this year York was picked to be the lucky host city!  The 2014 games will mark the first time the event has been held on the East Coast.  York County businesses are preparing for the eight day event that is expected to generate an estimated four million dollars for the community.  The games include more than 50 sporting events from traditional to industry specific games such as toughest firefighter alive and police service dog.
