FOX43 is looking for an Account Executive for establishing new business, developing current business relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Responsible for selling all of FOX43 Media’s product portfolio including On-Air, Online, Mobile, and Event advertising.   Creativity and ability to execute based on deadlines is a must.

College degree in Marketing/Communication and prior broadcast and interactive sales experience.
Must be able to develop new business and be a proven closer.

Direct all sales revenue efforts at the station. This includes personally handling National sales, as well as overseeing Local spot sales, Internet sales, new media sales, sales promotion and merchandising, new business development and vendor sales. Position requires exceptional detail with inventory management, AUR’s and analysis.

Bachelor degree and prior Broadcast management experience of at least five years.

Overall purpose of this position is to plan and execute the field coverage of local events for the weekend newscasts. This  position also acts as a desk assistant for the assignment editor during the week. The individual may be occasionally called upon to fill in for the weekday or weeknight assignment editor.

Education : B/A Degree in Mass Communications, Broadcast Journalism or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and understanding of television news operations and the dynamics of the assignment desk. Individual needs to exhibit strong organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

Quality creative photography and editing of local news stories, while working well as a team with reporters to develop the best possible story.

Experience shooting and editing for broadcast TV news.  Ability to stay organized in a fast paced environment.  Flexibility of work schedule as news events require.

The multi-media journalist needs to do it all; report, shoot, edit and push content online. This position will normally work by themsleves to gather content for packages and other stories for both on-air and online.

Minimum one year reporting experience required. Must have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, must take initiative and possess great news judgement. Ability to write accurately under pressure in a contemporary, compelling and conversational style using a blackberry, laptop or cell phone text messaging system. Should be well versed and have hands on experience with social media sites and networks like Facebook and Twitter. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or related field is a must.
