Car plunges off cliff in Perry County; driver dies

WATTS TOWNSHIP, PERRY COUNTY – A 19-year-old Philadelphia man is dead after his car plummeted down a cliff in Perry County early Friday morning. It happened around 2:22 a.m. along Route 322 in Watts Township.

State police said Kevin Chen was driving a 2006 Infiniti G35 west on Route 322 when he lost control of the car, sideswiped a guardrail and went down an embankment. Chen’s vehicle became airborne and plummeted down a cliff and and landed the eastbound lanes of Route 322.

Chen was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
