HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY—
An attempt to bring an illegal drug back from New York City has cost a Harrisburg woman her life. An autopsy performed on 25 year old Mikkia Dudley-Jackson, from Uptown Harrisburg, reveals that she died of a drug overdose.
Jackson along with 39 year old Anthony Parker,and a 15 year city girl travelled in a rental car to New York City over the weekend to buy a quanity of PCP. The plan was to sell the drug in Harrisburg. They bought a one and a half ounces of the liquid drug contained in a small bottle.
Investigators say that Dudley-Jackson wrapped the bottle in a condom and hid the bottle inside her vagina to avoid detection if they were stopped by police. Sometime during the ride back to Harrisburg the bottle apparently leaked. The PCP soaked through the condom and was absorbed into Dudley-Jackson’s system. It resulted in her death.
The teenager helped Parker recover and dispose of the bottle with the remaining PCP. They tried to clean up the car but didn’t know what to do about Dudley-Jackson’s body. Eventually they decided to take the body to city police headquarters. It was determined that Dudley-Jackson had been dead for a period of time before she was taken to police.
As a result of the police investigation Parker faces numerous charges including Involuntary Manslaughter, Possession with Intent to Deliver PCP, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Tampering with Evidence. Police say their investigation into the incident continues.
