When it comes to Christmas lights, Don Krasley is a mastermind.

He has more than 60,000 lights in his front yard and spends countless hours every year not only setting them up, but putting them all to music.

“Some days I come out and work for five, eight hours. I don’t even go in the house,” he said.

Krasley sets all of his lights to music with a program on his computer. He’s up to 17 songs now and each one is a labor of love.

“Probably got 120 hours into just one song alone,” he said.

For the sixth year, people from all over come to see his display. All donations from people who come to see the lights go toward the Ronald McDonald house in Hershey.

“They’re all about helping families in their time of need. And this is Christmastime, it’s time to think about your families,” Krasley said.

Despite the fact it will take Krasley about a week to take the display down, he says it’s the little things that make it all worth it.

“If we make one person smile that was otherwise a little down this holiday, it paid for itself,” he said.

The Krasleys raised more than $3,000 for charity last year with their display and hope to double that this year.
