It was a game the Steelers needed more than the Ravens and they played like it.   Third-string quarterback Charlie Batch leads the Steelers back from 13-3 and 20-13 deficits on the road to beat their rivals in M&T Bank Stadium 23-20.    Batch did everything possible to help his team including a block that springs running back Jonathan Dwyer into the end zone for a touchdown to tie the game at 13-13 in the second half.

Batch’s touchdown pass to Heath Miller knotted the game at 20-20.   Miller stretched the last few yards to touch the pylon as he was flying out of bounds.   His effort was symbolic of Pittsburgh’s all-out performance to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Ravens.   Kicker Shaun Suisham boots the game-winning 42-yard field goal as time expires to complete the comeback.

Pittsburgh now improves to 7-5 and drops Baltimore to 9-3.   The Ravens still lead the AFC North comfortably with four games to go in the regular season but a victory would have almost guaranteed the division title and home playoff game.   The Steelers are expected to get Ben Roethlisberger back at QB next week vs. San Diego and finish the season with three out of their final four games at home.    The Ravens are in D.C. next Sunday to face the Redskins.
