PennDOT District 8 announced scheduled bridge inspection Dec. 3-7 on the Market Street Bridge over the Susquehanna River between Wormleysburg Borough and the City of Harrisburg.
PennDOT advises travelers that Dec. 3-7 they will encounter lane restrictions on the Market Street Bridge between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Workers are expected to begin on the West Shore side of the bridge and move east for approximately two to three days before shifting to the other side of the bridge. The Market Street Bridge averages 12,400 vehicles traveled daily.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and pay attention when traveling through work zones, not only for their safety, but for the safety of the inspection crew.
