HACC abduction suspect arrested

Clarence Shaffer, the man accused of abducting an 18 year-old HACC student at gunpoint Monday morning and attempting to sexually assault her, has been apprehended. Police caught up to Shaffer after he led them on a chase that ended in Highspire.

FOX43 News’ Michael Hyland has been following the story and will have a full report tonight at 6pm.

    probably has been charged with something like this before and was let go ,, like all the other perverts,, aloud to abuse kids and get a slap on the wrists ,, and out back out to abuse again

    He was just released from Camp Hill prison on 11/29. Wonderful. Now maybe they will take his deviant actions seriously before someone else gets hurt.

    Two things. First we must remember that he is only accused of doing this at this moment, he still has the right to a fair and impartial trial. Secondly, having said that how do we even know this is the right guy because that sketch poster is way off. It is possible that this guy is completely innocent and has fallen victim to a police officer who is pissed he served his time and got released.
