It was a beautiful December day with highs over 20 degrees above average.   A cold front approaching is bringing a return of the clouds, a few showers and much cooler air for tomorrow.  Overnight lows will be very mild in the upper 40s to low 50s.  A few scattered showers will be possible this evening and into the early morning hours but should exit by the morning commute.

Clouds will clear leaving blue skies for Wednesday.  Winds will be picking up and becoming quite gusty making temperatures feel even chillier.  Afternoon highs will be in the low 50s but feel cooler with the winds.

Sunny and dry with seasonal averages in the low 40s for Thursday.

As we head into Friday, we start out dry with sunshine but the clouds move in and a few showers will be possible in the evening as a warm front pushes north.  Highs will reach the upper 40s.

The frontal boundary will become stationary across the area keeping a slight threat for showers over the weekend and a better chance for showers early next week.  An unsettled pattern for sure but temperatures return to the 50s despites several days with the clouds and chance for wet weather.
