PA Department of Health Announces Influenza Vaccination Week

The Pennsylvania Department of health announces Flu Vaccination Week. 60 state health centers, many Area Agencies on Aging, and other public and private partners throughout Pennsylvania will be offering free flu clinics Dec. 2-8.

The prominent strain of the flu so far is H3N2. A strain that the CDC says is usually associated with a severe flu season. They say this year`s flu shot is an excellent match for the flu that`s going around. The PA Department of Health encouraging everyone to get the shot especially high risk groups including young children and pregnant women.
