Hosting your family and friends over the holidays can be stressful, but imagine multiplying that by a thousand! Governor Tom Corbett and his wife, Susan, are welcoming guests to the Governor’s Mansion for the holidays.

This year, there’s an international theme. Several trees highlight certain cultures, like the Irish.

The First Lady says it takes weeks to get ready.

“We start planning the theme and start collecting the decorations in the fall. Then, immediately after Thanksgiving, we shut down the residence for a week, and we have a team of volunteers, and the staff of the residence and I do the decorating,” says First Lady Susan Corbett.

The mansion, along North Front Street in Harrisburg, features displays for Hanukkah and Kwanzaa as well. Tours will continue through Wednesday, December 12th from noon until 2:00 p.m.
