The York County Coroner has identified the woman killed in a deadly fire over the weekend, as 68-year old Margaret Mann.

Her body wasn’t discovered until the following day, according to the coroner’s office.

Fire broke out inside Mann’s townhouse located  along the 1700 block of Devers Road  in York City on Saturday.

A caregiver who came to the home on Sunday made the discovery.

Authorities believe the fire started as a result of careless smoking. There were no working smoke detectors in the home, according to Acting Fire Chief David Michaels.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
