The Powerball lottery has been good to Pennsylvania. The last two winners have been from the Keystone state, including one of the winners of the largest jackpot ever.

Matthew Good, 37, a Cumberland County native was one of the two winners of the $587.5 million Powerball jackpot from the November 28th drawing.

Good and his wife moved from the mid-state to Fountain Hills, an Arizona suburb, in September of 2011.

Good had just hired a Harrisburg law firm, Rhoads & Simon, prompting many to wonder the reason an Arizona man would hire a central Pa firm. He has since said that he plans to collect his share of the money, $192 million, before the end of the year to avoid potentially ‘higher taxes in 2013’.

A Missouri couple, a mechanic and his wife, have already claimed their half of the multi-million dollar prize.
