A 6-year-old Amish boy is killed after being struck by a pick-up truck as he was walking home from school in Lancaster County on Friday afternoon. It happened around 3:20 p.m. along the 5600 block of Old Philadelphia Pike in Salisbury Township.
Three Amish children walking home when the 6-year-old attempted to cross the road and was hit by an eastbound pickup truck that was driven by 72-year-old Samuel King, of Narvon.
The boy died at the scene, according to the Lancaster County coroner’s office.
