Expect mild temperatures in the 40s when you step out the door accompanied by areas of dense fog that has developed while you slept. Visibilities will be greatly reduced in spots for this mornings rush so you may need to give yourself some extra time for travel. Otherwise expect mostly cloudy to cloudy skies today and as an area of low pressure develops near by the chance of showers will be on the increase. Times of rain and showers will become more likely tonight across the region with lows again only falling into the 40s.
A couple showers may try to linger across parts of the region early tomorrow but will gradually dissipate. Partial clearing is expected by the afternoon and evening hours. Highs tomorrow will be seasonably mild in the mid 50s.
Wednesday high pressure will move briefly into place allowing for partly sunny skies and slightly cooler highs around 50 degrees.
Another front will push in on Thursday producing rain during the day as highs top in the upper 40s. There is a slight chance that a few wet snowflakes may mix in Thursday night and early Friday morning but at this point it doesn’t look like a big deal at all.
Yet another fast moving clipper may bring a reinforcing shot of colder air just in time for the weekend.
