Burglar apprehended in Susquehanna Twp

Police say they didn’t have to go far to catch the thief who broke into the Your Place Restaurant on Kohn Road Sunday morning. Officers responding to an alarm at the restaurant heard someone running in the woods behind the business. As they investigated the noise, they found several items taken from the restaurant. Then they found Francis Patrick Laganella, wearing all black clothing, mask, and gloves, trying to hide in the woods. Laganella,  52, of the 500 blk Curtain Street, Harrisburg, PA, was taken into custody and charged with Burglary, Loitering and Prowling at Night, Possession of Instruments of a Crime, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Laganella, who is on State Parole, was arraigned at Dauphin County Night Court, and placed in DCP on  Parole Detainer and $20,000 bail.
