Brisk winds continue this evening but should ease up overnight.  Combination of a light breeze and clearing skies, will make for a pretty chilly night.  Lows will drop into the low 30s, so we’ll be starting off colder tomorrow but certainly not where we should be for this time of the year.  A weak disturbance passing through overnight may briefly bring some clouds in but they should exit by morning.

High pressure brings sunshine and quiet weather for us tomorrow.  Winds will be breezy but not as gusty as today.  Highs remain above normal in the upper 40s to near 50.

Next, more potent storm system, arrives for Thursday, as an area of low pressure and associated frontal boundary brings a return of moisture while keeping temperatures mild.   Clouds will thicken, highs should get to the mid and upper 40s then the showers will move in later in the afternoon and evening.

Cold front crosses the area early Friday morning.  Showers may linger early before exiting east.  Winds will become quite gusty getting the Lake Effect snow machine going.  The upper level part of the storm system will strengthen and help to produce strong winds which will produce Lake Effect Snow by Friday afternoon and evening.  They are likely to reach as far south as Maryland.  Light snow flurries will continue on Saturday early before the winds shift and relax.

Upper level trough will sit overhead for several days keeping much colder air in place for the weekend with highs remaining in the 30s.

A quick glance at Christmas has a system moving in later in the day bringing increasing clouds and perhaps a few late showers.
