Another foggy start but some improvements this PM

Once again this morning we will have to deal with dense fog and drizzle that remains in place across the region.  A cold front will push through later this morn...

High pressure returns tomorrow which will equate to partly sunny skies with unseasonably mild daytime highs around 50 degrees.

The next system will move into the region Thursday bringing with it a good chance of rain and cooler temperatures in the 40s.  As temperatures drop to near freezing Thursday night into Friday we could see a changeover to a brief period of snow.  As north-westerly winds increase Friday the Lake Effect snow machine will begin to crank up.  Its possible that some of these flurries and occasional snow showers may make it into our area.

Colder air and blustery winds will move in just in time for the weekend and the official start of Winter which occurs this Friday at 6:12am.  Temperatures Friday through at least Christmas Eve Monday will run in the 30s with overnight lows in the 20s.
