Roundtable on Urban Issues in Pennsylvania

Urban areas across the state are facing a number of economic and financial problems, especially in smaller cities.  So Tuesday, the Senate Democratic Policy Committee held a roundtable discussion at the Allison Hill Community Center in Harrisburg to talk about issues facing the state’s smaller urban area’s and their surrounding communities.  State Representative-Elect Patty Kim says those who can afford to leave are leaving and those who can’t are staying.  And those people who are staying need to have better quality public education and they also need to have jobs.
