President Obama: “Person of the Year”

President Barack Obama has been named Time magazine’s “Person of the Year” for 2012.


This is Obama’s second time achieving the title; he first graced the cover in 2008.

The magazine editor, Richard Stengel said, “For finding and forging a new majority, for turning weakness into opportunity and for seeking, amid great adversity, to create a more perfect union, Barack Obama is TIME’s 2012 Person of the Year.”

Pakistan women’s rights activist Malala Yousafzai

Apple CEO Tim Cook

Egyptian leader Mohamed Morsi

Physicist Fabiola Gianotti

    Wow I thought this was a shame but then I see Morsi listed as a runner up this certainly explains everything they certainly belong in the same catagory. Just don't understand why Chavez didn't make the cut. Will he win another Nobel Piece Prize? I think Michelle should win it this time for her improvements in school lunches. I'm thinking Assad will probably beat her though but only after he wins a humanitarian award.
