A bank robbery in York County. It happened at around 2:15 pm at the People’s Bank in the 2400 block of Eastern boulevard in Springettsbury Township. Township police say the suspect, a light-skinned black male, walked into the bank and presented a note demanding money. He ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Bank employees did not see a weapon.
Police released a surveillance photo. The suspect is approximately 6 feet tall, he was wearing a black jacket, and a black beanie hat with a light-colored stripe around it.
