Its the holiday season but things aren’t very joyful in Pittsburgh.  After their loss in Dallas, Ben Roethlisberger was critical of the play calling by offensive coordinator, Todd Haley.

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers QB

“I came in, I apologized to Todd, I apologized to Mike, Mr.Rooney.  I let my frustrations out.  I usually don’t do that, I keep them under control.  Just frustrations on myself.”

That frustration could lead to problems.  Big Ben says, its OK to disagree with the offensive coordinator, as long as things are eventually worked out.

“I’m sure its that way with every position player and coach.  There are times I don’t see eye to eye with Coach Tomlin but that doesn’t mean anything, I don’t think.  I’ms sure you don’t see eye to eye with your bosses sometimes.”

But the Steelers still have, the Christmas spirit.  If they win their final 2 games, starting with Cincinnati on Sunday, they are playoff bound.

Larry Foote, Steelers Linebacker

“We are fortunate enough that the AFC is not a powerhouse this year but its playoffs for us.  We will see how we respond Sunday.”

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers QB

“I’m sure the fans are going to come out, be rowdy and excited and treat it like a playoff game because that is what we hope and expect from them because we are going to give it are all like a playoff game.”

The Steelers have done very well in this series, they have won the last 5 and Ben Roethlisberger, 8-1 in his career, versus the Bengals.
