Pennsylvania State Police credit surveillance video in the arrest of a York County burglary suspect. State Police responded to a weekend burglary at a home in the 3500 block of Sticks Road in Codorus.  Two diamond rings valued at $1,800 and $800 cash were reported stolen.  Later surveillance video captured 24-year-old Tait Allison, of New Freedom Borough, attempting to pass a check belonging to the victim’s son at the New Freedom Rutter’s store.

During an interview, Allison confessed to burglarizing the victim’s home on multiple occasions over the past three months.  Charges against Allison include, Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Theft by Unlawful Taking.  He is currently be held at York County Prison on unrelated charges.
