The President and Executive Vice President of the National Rifle Association are speaking out for the first time since the Newtown, Connecticut shooting rampage. Members say the lobbyists were just as shocked as the rest of America.  The NRA has been discussing options on how to deal with last week’s tragedy.  One of the solutions, include having armed guards in every school.   Executive Vice President Wayne La Pierre cited violent video games as a factor contributing to random violence. The NRA is launching a fund called ‘National School Shield Emergency Response Program’ for schools that want armed security.  They are also calling on congress for funding.

Protesters disrupted the NRA appearance two times, and were escorted out of the room by security.
