PennDOT York County Maintenance today finished repairs and is paving the westbound right lane of U.S. Route 30 near the Shoe House Road overpass between the Hellam and Mt. Zion Road exits in Hellam Township, York County. PennDOT anticipates reopening U.S. Route 30 West to two lanes of travel by 7 p.m.
U.S. Route 30 West has been restricted to a single lane of travel since Dec. 27 at 4 p.m. due to a failed pipe that resulted in a sinkhole.
This section of U.S. Route 30 West averages 21,670 vehicles traveled each day.
