More than 100 brave souls jumping into the Susquehanna River for the 16th annual Penguin Plunge which benefits the Humane Society of the Harrisburg area. People of all ages and even some dogs plunging into water that was 34 degrees today!

“It’s not that bad, it’s really fun, very, very cold at first and then it’s not that bad after a few minutes,” says Devon Rodriguez-Cayro who raised almost $5,000 dollars for the humane society.

“It was fun, i really enjoyed it. I would have actually stayed in longer but my legs started going numb, so i figured I better get out,” says Jaynie Beard of Harrisburg.

After everyone had jumped or even went for a swim in the Susquehanna, plungers then headed to Flinchy’s restaurant to warm up!
