While the immediate forecast doesn’t include snow, Roundtop Mountain is a winter wonderland.  The ski destination has been making snow since Christmas night and round the clock since Wednesday, trying to get all 19 trails open as soon as possible.

With the cold temperatures of this week, the snow making operations have been stepped up at Roundtop Mountain.  Workers have been making and grooming snow around the clock for nearly 2 straight days.  The snow guns are pumping out nearly 4,000 gallons a minute and the base is at nearly a foot of powder.  Right now, 12 trails are open and the snow tubing will open today at noon.
