A 28-year-old man is arrested after he rammed a vehicle in Lebanon County and then kicked a state police trooper early Saturday morning. Christopher Witkowski, 28, of Hershey, is facing numerous charges including driving under the influence and aggravated assault.
Troopers responded to a disturbance around 2:43 a.m. along Route 22 in Union Township after getting a report that Witkowski rammed a vehicle.
He fled the scene and later crashed a short distance down the road in Bethel Township.
Troopers found Witkowski hiding near the scene and arrested him for DUI. During the arrest he fought with state police and kicked a trooper in the head while being transported to the hospital for blood tests.
