Three men are facing criminal charges after burglarizing several storage facilities in southern York County, state police said. Michael T. Wright, 42 and Chad T. Warehime, 25, both of Baltimore, Md., were arrested early Saturday morning. A third man, Lawrence E. Creese, 33, also of Baltimore, Md., remains at large.

Early Saturday morning, troopers patrolling Main Street in Shrewsbury spotted a dark blue work van that matched a description of the suspects vehicle. It was parked inside a wash bay at White’s Garage car wash.

Warehime was found inside the van and troopers became suspicious when he provided conflicting statements as to why he was there. State police began checking nearby buildings and found Wright and Creese burglarizing the EZ Access Storage Facility. Both men took off in an attempt to flee from troopers.

Wright was captured after a brief foot chase and was taken into custody. An arrest warrant has been issued for Creese.

Wright and Warehime were taken to York County Central Booking for arraignment.

State police began investigating the break-ins back in November of 2012. A total of six burglaries were reported at storage facilities located in Springfield Township, Shrewsbury, and New Freedom. State police say the suspects committed the crimes by cutting through fencing in order to access the storage units.
