His dismissal in Philadelphia turns into a promotion in Kansas City.    Former Manheim Central Quarterback Matt Nagy follows Andy Reid from the Eagles to the Chiefs.  He moves up the line from offensive quality control coach in Philly to the quarterbacks coach in KC.   Nagy was named the offensive quality control coach during the 2011 offseason.   Now 34 years old, Nagy served as a coaches assistant during the 2010 season after spending the 2008 and 2009 training camps as a coaching intern.

He played for Manheim Central from 1994-96 where he was an all-state QB in his senior year.   He set 20 career passing records during his college days at Delaware.   Nagy also played in the Arena Football League for six seasons before getting into coaching.   He helped with the Barons before becoming the quarterback coach with Cedar Crest.   He also served as offensive coordinator at Palmyra before joining the Eagles.
