Suspected Major Drug Dealer Charged in Lancaster City

A suspected drug dealer is behind bars following a raid Thursday morning by Members of the Lancaster County Drug Task Force and Lancaster City Police.   Police searched an apartment in the 600 block of North Queen Street, a garage and  a vehicle belonging to 38-year-old Gali Maunuel Ortiz-Mangual.

During the searches over 3 thousand individual packages of heroin, branded “Colt 45”, and ready for distribution were seized. Police say the heroin has a street value of $30,000. Also seized were drug paraphernalia as well as over $7,000 in cash and the suspects vehicle.

Charges against Ortiz-Mangual include, Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, a felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Ortiz-Mangual was arraigned on the charges and sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
