Two teenagers were robbed at gunpoint in front of Steelton Highspire High School on Thursday evening. At around 7 p.m. a 14-year old and a 15-year old were walking up the street when they were approached by three suspects.

One of the suspects pointed a rifle at the two teens while the others demanded them to empty their pockets. One of the victims was hit in the face by the barrel of the rifle and received minor injuries. The suspects were able to get away with two cell phone before fleeing the area.

One of the victims told police he recognized one of the suspects and was able to provide officers with his name. Police were able to located and identify two of the three suspects, the third remains at large and is unidentified.

The suspects were 14- and 15- years old and face charges of Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy. The 14-year old was taken turned over to the Dauphin County Juvenile Probation Authorities and remains in custody. The 15-year old has been identified as Ean Shamar Cooper-Smith and will be charged as an adult. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on the third suspect is asked to contact the Swatara Township Police Department at 717-564-2550.
