Conrad Bain Passes Away

Veteran actor Conrad Bain has died.  Bain’s daughter says he died of natural causes.  Bain became a star as a white adoptive father of two young African-American brothers on the sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.”  The show debuted in 1978 and ran for eight seasons.  Bain’s resume also included Woody Allen’s film “Bananas” and a role on the comedy “Maude.” Conrad Bain was 89 years old.
