Harrisburg Murder Suspect Arrested in Philly; Accomplice May Have Fled Country

U.S. Marshals arrested one man for a Harrisburg murder, while another suspect may have left the country.  Arrest warrants for Stephen Davis, 26, of Philadelphia and Winston Mitchell, 31, also of Philadelphia were issued January 5th. Davis was arrested Tuesday morning in Philadelphia.  He is accused in the December 4, 2012 fatal shooting of 35-year-old Luis Diaz. Diaz was shot and killed in his apartment in the 1100 block of Cloverly Road in Harrisburg.

Charges against Davis include, Murder, Criminal Conspiracy to commit Murder, Burglary, Criminal Conspiracy to commit Burglary and Carrying a Firearm without a License. He is being held in Dauphin County Prison.

Winston Mitchell was not located.  Information provided in Philadelphia revealed that Mitchell fled to a country in South America where he has relatives.  He is being sought on charges of Murder, Burglary,  Criminal Conspiracy and Carrying Firearm Without License.
